I watched a few shows over the weekend on one of the discovery channels. It was a whole set of them on different aspects of Hitler and Nazi Germany. As I watched I became increasingly more aware of how much our current government parallels Hitler's ideals.
here are just a few of the parallels
The reichstag fire which was intentionally set by Hitler as a "false flag operation" or an event staged to create public outrage towards another person or group. much like the attacks of 9/11 which continue to be convincingly uncovered as an inside job by our government. Also their staging of an attack on a German radio station from across the Polish border which was used as Germany's excuse to invade Poland, claiming defense against aggression. Very similar to the constant reports about troops from Iran crossing into Iraq in acts of aggression.
The vilifying of the Jews and other minorities, much like the neo-cons have done with Muslims and people of middle east decent.
The creation of concentration camps and death camps, much like Gauntanimo, Abu Ghirabe, and countless other secret facilities world wide. Including many here in America itself. Are you aware of the FEMA camps in existence all over the country right now numbering over 700 and waiting to be used, some in use currently for political and immigrant prisoners? Or the laws now in existence through the patriot act defining them as Civilian Labor Work Force Camps?
The increasing infringing on civilian populations rights. Gun confiscation's, identity registrations, restricted travels, etc., and yes it is happening here in America. Are you aware of the massive gun confiscation's done in New Orleans by federal stormtroopers in law abiding civilian households? How about the federal ID program wanting to put RFI or radio tracking devices in all civilian IDs by 2008? They currently are in every car tire you buy and can be used to track your vehicle just like an EZ-Pass.
How about the way Hitler continued to land grab breaking the treaty of Versailles? Always pledging to stop his activity knowing full well he had more in mind. Very similar to our moves first into Afghanistan, then Iraq and then leading to talk of Iran.
And speaking of treaties, our governments rewriting of the laws concerning combat in direct and full violation to the Geneva convention. Much Like Hitler's take no prisoners attitude toward the Allies as enemy combatants you may think oh well that's how we need to fight over there. but are you aware that by rewriting the rules and ignoring the Geneva convention. that now under law allows the people we fight against to use the same techniques on our own people? Your family and friends in the war are now subject to an open door policy of torture to any degree as long as it doesn't cause death or organ failure. It's legal and in the books. And mind you that hasn't prevented people from dying by the hands of our government in a torture situation, or losing limbs and appendages.
Hitler also tried to create a united Europe, the 1,000 year Reich. Are you familiar with the Bush Neo-con institution of the North American Union? By the plan the borders of Canada and Mexico will be erased, and north America will be one big entity. We will no longer be Americans or have a constitution, but will be ruled by an over seeing body instituting laws for the nation of "north America."
And finally not the last possible point to use but a good one to end with. The attempt by the American government recently to build a wall through Baghdad to separate "warring" tribes. And only by the insisting and severe negative reaction by the people of Iraq was this stopped. If this attempt doesn't scream Berlin Wall to you then you are really asleep at the wheel.
To those un-aware of some of the things mentioned here i challenge you to look up the info for yourselves. the recent changes in our laws covered under the patriot act are shocking and in direct contrast to what being an American is all about. its time to wake up and realize what we are slowly losing. and it's being done right under our noses. the Neo-con's are reading line for line out of the world domination playbook and we can not stand by and let this happen. Wake Up America!!!
