When we have come to the point as a country where John McCain is considered by anyone to be "the lesser Evil", we are fucked up beyond all reclamation! Like the man said, any kind of nuclear attack against Iran, including conventional weapons on a nuclear reactor, will pull China and Russia together as allies and the "cold war of nuclear deterrence" will seem a very happy memory to those of us who lived through those very dangerous times of "duck and cover" exercises under our school desks twice a week.
Somehow, I just never had much confidence that my desk would protect me from a nuclear bomb, even at the age of nine!

Does anyone have a clue why this is not the lead story on CBS, ABC, CNN, MSNBC, FOX and all the other propaganda networks ("propaganda" is the operational word in this interrogative sentence)? I am a Vietnam veteran and the first thing we learned was to give no information, aid or comfort to the enemy under ANY circumstances....just name, rank and serial number...or else! My father was only a senior master sergeant so I knew better than to disobey my orders. McCain's daddy was made chief Admiral in control of the Pacific theater, including Vietnam.
Here is how that worked to his unpatriotic advantage:

McCain's daddy was a top admiral and he was a pilot who got to drop bombs on peasants from the safety of his 20 million dollar fighter jet. He never once dreamed he would get shot down and be captured, and, when he did, he sang like a canary on crack to keep his butt out of the Tiger Cage. It will be his eventual un-doing, which will really throw the brokered convention drama in to high gear for Ron Paul!

Top Cop Says McCain Was Never Tortured
A former Vietnam veteran with top secret clearance says he has personally spoken to numerous POW's who dispute John McCain's claim that he refused to provide information after he was captured and tortured in Hanoi, saying that in fact McCain's code-name was "Songbird" because of his willingness to tell all to avoid torture.
