This bulletin is dedicated to the beautiful, proud, Custer-routing, independent and SOVEREIGN Lakota Sioux people...
This new film discusses the erosion of tribal sovereignity of the Lakota Sioux people on the Pine Ridge (concentration camp) reservation. This film continues to show the arrogance and ignorance of my pale faced brothers and sisters who don't know their history and allow the American MYTH to be taught in our oligarchy/nation.
Pine Ridge has the lowest per capita income of any area in the nation, as well as the lowest life span of any area in the Western Hemisphere. The Indian Wars never ended. Our government doesn't send in troops anymore, they rewrite history, they ignore treaty law, they cut federal funding, they send in the FBI Goon squads, they railroad Indian activists, and they demoralize our Indian brothers and sisters by allowing their images to be used as mascots. We would never allow a "pale-faced" football team, or the Washington slaves, or the New York Wops/Micks/Polocks/etc.
And i call the Indigenous cultures of the Western Hemisphere INDIANS. As your history books are inaccurate on a lot of things, Columbus didn't name American Indians "en Dios" because he thought he was in India, he did because "en Dios" means "of God," and Columbus observed almost instantly he was surrounded by a very spiritual and Creator worshipping culture. It wasn't until he was slaughtering Indians that he changed what he referred to them as (to demonize them and justify his genocidal actions).
So check this new movie out. "Standing Silent Nation" sounds like an awesome movie. If you want to know more movies about indigenous culture and history, check my movie section and watch some of the other films listed there under American Indian films.
